I really need to get back into a groove of doing this several times a week. It's hard right now because the weather is so hot - a panting dog cannot track. It's also been extremely hard to find the right timing to go - one weekend I drove around to all of the schools and they were all being mowed! As it stands right now the grass is a decent height, but a lot of it is dead. I think Seth could manage a track on dry grass/dirt, but I don't think Sepp is that good at it yet.
These tracks were extremely short. Seth hasn't seen articles on the track so that was new for him. Sepp has seen them a few times but we haven't tracked since May/June.
I think I really need to just buckle down and pick some days for tracking. I think I will start with trying to commit to Saturday/Sunday and Wednesdays. I am hoping too once we are in the club I will feel more confident doing it also.
Here is a video of the boys. Food is spread sporadically, Seth had more paces without food than Seppel did.
And Sepia Saturday!
